SIM Challenge places medical students inside realistic simulated clinical situations where teams must assess, treat and stabilise a patient under time pressure.
This is a challenge built around clinical reasoning, communication and the ability to work together when every decision matters.

SIM Challenge takes place during iMed Conference® 18.0.
4TH–6TH YEAR
Participation is exclusively open to medical students currently attending the 4th, 5th or 6th year.
TEAMS OF FOUR
Each team consists of four medical students, with one designated team leader responsible for registration.
ENTER THE SCENARIO. BECOME THE TEAM.
ASSESS
Read the patient, recognise the problem and identify what matters first.
COMMUNICATE
Share information clearly and coordinate four people around one clinical objective.
TREAT
Translate medical knowledge into concrete clinical actions.
STABILISE
Adapt as the scenario evolves and keep the patient at the centre of every decision.
